The K-State Fishing Team competes in collegiate bass fishing tournaments across the country. The team is recognized as a top competitor in collegiate angling, and proudly represents the University and the Big 12 Conference at each tournament.

2012 FLW College Fishing National Champions!

Ryan Patterson won the 2012 FLW College Fishing National Championship at Lake Murray, South Carolina from 4/13/12 to 4/15/12. He brought in a 3-day total weight of

46-15. Congratulations Ryan!

The K-State Fishing Team travels to several high-profile collegiate tournaments every year. Most tournaments we fish are televised on Fox College Sports, NBC Sports, or ESPNU.

During 2012, the team will be fishing all over the central region of the country. From highland reservoirs in Missouri and Arkansas, to the waters of north Texas hill country, and even infamous Kentucky Lake. The year 2012 should prove to be a very exciting and successful year for the Kansas State University Fishing Team.
